## The Structure of this Course

This course is structured into the following sections:

- Revision : the background information needed
- Exponents : introducing the notations of exponents and the basic laws
- Roots : the notation of radicals, and how to notate and manipulate square roots and cube roots
- Surds : manipulating roots
